This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information AI Built collects when you get in touch, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

AI Built is operated by J. Tyrala, trading as AI Built, a sole trader based in Dublin, Ireland. For anything in this policy, J. Tyrala is the data controller. You can reach me by email, phone or WhatsApp:

2. What we collect

Your name, email, phone number and three short qualifying answers when you book a call (this goes through Cal.com, the booking tool).
Any messages you send me on WhatsApp.
Basic call records if you phone me.

That's it — no hidden tracking, no data bought from anyone else.

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

To arrange the call you asked for — steps taken at your request before any agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To understand your enquiry so the call is useful — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your details for marketing, and there is no newsletter.

4. Who else processes your data

Cal.com, Inc. (United States) — the scheduling tool that handles bookings, under appropriate GDPR safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses per their data processing agreement).
WhatsApp / Meta — only if you choose to message me there.
Your mobile carrier and mine — if you phone.

5. International transfers

Booking data is handled by Cal.com in the United States, under the safeguards described above. Otherwise your data stays within the EU/EEA.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking details are deleted within 12 months of our last contact, unless we've started working together and need to keep them for that.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to:

see the data we hold about you (access);
correct it (rectification);
delete it (erasure);
limit how we use it (restriction);
object to us using it;
get a copy to reuse elsewhere (portability).

8. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

9. Cookies

This website sets no tracking or analytics cookies. The booking widget may set strictly-functional cookies when you actually book a call — these are needed for it to work, nothing more.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
